I Spend Money and I Do Save in My Spring Wardrobe

Today is the official first day of spring, so I wanted to share a few tips to create the perfect spring wardrobe. I have not always carefully planned my wardrobe, but over the years it has definitely improved my budget. What I like about spring is that it becomes easier to buy inexpensive things that can be mixed and combined with the rest of your wardrobe. You can really create a chic outfit with just a flowing dress or an eye-catching top. And you don’t need a ton of designer accessories, because there are so many fashionable options that really complement the outfit – like a straw bag or a designer transformer handbag. That said, here are the areas where I spend money instead of saving in my spring wardrobe.

Where do I spend the money…

Silk Tops

I rarely spend money on tops, with the exception of silk shirts with buttons and lace blouses. They have such consistency and seem to be appropriate all year round. Whether I need a short top to tuck into jeans, or something that can be worn under a blazer, the silk top always looks expensive and elegant.

Spring dresses

Spring is the time of communication. Usually so much of everything happens, from weddings to weddings, children’s parties to Easter and much more. In such cases, I want to look beautiful and I don’t mind spending more money, because the quality is not reproducible when it comes to details such as cut and fabric. Therefore, if I know that I can put on something more than once, or even in the following years, for example, a little white dress or a mini in a flower, I will spend the money without hesitation.

Spectacular shoes

Shoes and accessories are my weakness, and these are also the categories for which I spend the most money. Since they are always the finishing touch in an outfit, I don’t mind investing in designer shoes. In spring and summer, I can’t live without my Chloe wedge shoes and Chanel espadrilles. They hold up so well and look great with any leggy outfit.

Lightweight jackets

When it comes to jackets, I usually just buy a big trench coat or blazer and then save for everything else. Among my most worn spring jackets are waterfall trench coats (like this one), versatile jackets and denim jackets that you can find at affordable prices.

Casual tops

I rarely spend money on trendy tops and blouses, because they are simply not kept in my wardrobe long enough. In addition, there are so many fashionable options that look stunning. Anyway, I’m looking for the perfect top, I usually turn to brands like Endless Rose, Bardot and Free People. I also love Asos and H&M.

Fashionable Things One Pieces

In the spring, I usually buy more monochrome things to prepare for the hotter temperatures or the last-minute vacation at the end of the season. It’s so hard to resist a cute romper or jumpsuit for a girl, which is so easy to wear with a pair of sandals or espadrilles. Casual dresses are another must-have, as I don’t have to worry about spoiling them if I accidentally spill something about myself.

Woven Accessories

I’m crazy about fashionable woven accessories in spring 2019. They are not only affordable, but also very instagram-friendly and practical for the beach, tropical vacation or daily life. You can find them in abundance in stores such as Asos, H&M and Mango. I’m a big fan and I can’t wait to get my straw bags.
